Our Portfolio

From production-scale catamaran programmes to once-in-a-generation superyacht commissions, each project has demanded something different of the people who made it.

For more than twenty-five years, Marxcraft has built a reputation on one unchanging standard: every project, regardless of scale or sector, is executed by an experienced team of Australian master craftsmen who take personal accountability for the quality of their work. That continuity of people, process and purpose is what distinguishes a Marxcraft engagement from a managed supply arrangement. The portfolio that follows spans marine, defence, commercial and heritage commissions. Across every one of them, the measure of success has been the same: work that holds, finishes that endure, and clients who return.

2009 – 2010: Multiple Award-Winning Vessel

A 50-Metre Sailing Masterpiece by Fitzroy Yachts, Dubois & Tessier

Marxcraft fabricated and supplied the custom bespoke interior furniture to select areas of the vessel, including a full-size on-site mock-up constructed to verify fit before remote installation. The project was realised in close collaboration with Van Geest Design of the Netherlands, a partnership that would continue across subsequent superyacht commissions. Zefira went on to earn multiple international awards recognising her build quality, exterior design and competitive sailing performance.

World Superyacht Awards: Zefira was recognised across multiple categories.

ShowBoats Design Awards 2011: Zefira received recognition for Exterior Design and Styling in the Sailing Yachts category.

2010 — Exhibited Monaco Yacht Show

Lightweight Luxury at the Limits of Performance

McConaghy’s performance sailing yacht Singularity required a complete luxury interior within a strict weight budget, demanding materials that could not be sourced from conventional furniture manufacture. Marxcraft fabricated the interior using DuFlex composite panels by ATL Composites: aramid honeycomb cores with carbon-fibre skins, laminated with teak veneer by Marxcraft’s craftsmen with painstaking grain and colour matching. The interior was styled by British firm Design Unlimited. Singularity was subsequently exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show, presenting Australian precision craftsmanship on the world’s most prominent superyacht stage.
